A Gratitude Attitude

Hi all,

Have you ever thought of how much you have to the grateful for? I try to give thanks daily. I have so much in my life I am eternally grateful for. It definitely helps me. Maybe try adding this to your day to see if it helps in your journey. Just sit for a few minutes and think of everything you can, past and present that you are grateful to have in your life. It only take a couple minutes and if you can’t think of much, just say thank you internally a few times. Gratitude can move mountains.

Alrighty, onto the weightloss journey news. Out of the blue, I decided to go for a walk yesterday. I knew my next walk would be to test how far I could go towards the YMCA. I am proud to say, I made it to see the YMCA. I would have had to go about another quarter mile to be at the front door because of it’s layout but I made it onto the grounds it resides on. It was a round trip of 1.6 miles. To get to the front door of the YMCA, I need to add about another half mile for the round trip.

Walk from 7/13/21

So, this walk is harder than the one I have basically mastered to the store. Not just because it’s a bit longer, but because of how the hills are layed out. I can definitely feel the longer walk in my legs today. I would estimate, it will take 3-4 more walks to have me comfortable with this walk before adding further distance.

I did have to sit twice on the walk because of how high my heart was getting. I did hit over 170 at one point, which I hadn’t done in weeks now.

25lbs Down!

Hi all,

I did it! I did it! I diiiid it! I have lost 25 lbs and that’s about 7.5% of my original body weight.

25lbs in 2 months, less than 2 months. That’s fabulous progress in my mind. The loss today puts me back in green for the 4th of July mini challenge, but I’m still not at 6% for the 3 month one yet. On my personal one, I’m like 10lbs ahead.

Some rough things have happened lately outside my health journey, but due to the spiritual and mental health I’m working on it’s hardly phasing me.

I took a picture for a mini challenge mini goal but was too late to submit it, but want to share it with you all.

Monday Video, Stats and Pictures

Hi all,

Today is the best day to do the monthly pictures and my measurements. It’s also Monday so the video to boot. So let’s get started.

First, I stepped on the scale. I’m down another pound. That puts me at 312 lbs. That’s slightly off the 4th of July challenge but still very close.

So that’s a total of 8.4 inches in the past month.

With the most recent loss, I’m down 24lbs.

Definitely can see some loss this time.

Woo, that was a bunch for one post but we got through it. Well, I have a couple hours until work and want to get some stuff done.

The Walk, Test and Goals

Hi all,

Today has been a busy . I woke up with energy and got loads of transplanting done. I also did a bunch of tree trimming and got the porch pots organized. Overall it took about 2 and a half hours. By the time I was done my Polar hrm said I’d hit 100% of my daily activity.

Then I went on a walk, total of 1.35 miles and tested the thigh guard. For a first full test it was mostly successful. It needs some adjustment, but that’s what the testing phase is for.

So, on to the goals.

I had 7 for the weekend.

Goals for weekend 7/10- 7/11

So far, I have completed test, write, transplant, draw, walk and I have weighed in but not gotten a loss yet. Will try again Tomorrow morn.

So, next is to tackle the contracts rough drafts which I will hop on after this post.

I’m glad I have had the energy to get it all done.

Rain rain rain

Hi all,

Today I got to sleep in. Always good After 4 long work days.

I was ready to go test my thigh guards with a walk when thunder rolled. Haha! So give that a while longer to see if it passes.

The supplement I spoke about a few weeks ago finally arrived. So, I started using it today. I will tell more about it in a couple weeks after I can judge some effects or lack there of. Some people maybe able to guess from this picture.

Day one using supplement 7/10/2021

Well I’ve already sketched out my other invention basic designs, next I suppose I’ll get on the contracts.

As for the weigh in today, not worth mentioning. I must be retaining tons of water from my still sore muscles. I will be weighing in again in a day or two and Monday I will be doing my monthly measurements. Excited to see how much smaller I am. You also get updated pics.

Well, off I go to get more things marked of my goal list.
